I have decided to create a library of useful resources for Hāfu. This list will be updated along my discoveries and thanks to the information kindly shared by the guests I invite on the Podcast Hāfu Voices.
- The documentary Hafu – the mixed-race experience in Japan. Produced by Megumi Nishikura in 2013.

I was touched to see other Hāfu individuals sharing their unique stories and realizing that we each have our unique and sometimes similar challenges and questions when it comes to our Identity.
I also recommend to check out her website as she produced and directed other documentaries: Kokusekihou, War brides and Minidoka.

- The book Hāfu2Hāfu, a Worldwide Photography Project about Mixed Japanese Identity. Produced by Tetsuro Miyazaki in 2019.

Hāfu2Hāfu is a unique project photographing hāfu (mixed roots people with one Japanese parent) from every country in the world and sharing their most significant questions about identity, sense of belonging or growing up with two different cultures.
To me, it is more than a book. It is a Work of Art.
