It was an honor to be one of the speaker at the 5th Emotional Intelligence Symposium* at State Small Business Expo.
On the behalf of #Toastmasters international, I talked about “Communication leading to success”.
I shared about how improving our communication skills can have a tremendous impact not only on our career but also our lives, through different people stories including mine.
*This non-for-profit organization helped me not only to feel more confident when I give speeches but also to learn how to craft a meaningful speech and to deliver it powerfully. And most importantly, I am improving my listening and communication skills in english each time.
I used to be quite uncomfortable when it came to give speeches in my previous corporate jobs. As a Sales Manager, I had to give presentations in front of clients and reporting to managers. Now, I have to say that I truly enjoy it and I am always looking for opportunities to speak to share messages that could benefit everyone.
